Variety: 100% Montepulciano d' Abruzzo

Wine Review: Deep ruby red color with violet highlights and a pleasant and fruity bouquet. Full bodied, soft tannins and good acidity. Excellent with pasta dishes and red meats.
My Review: This was a really dark colored wine, it was a very deep red. It smelled like cherries to me, which I can't stand. So right after smelling it I was kind of turned off from it. But it actually have a really nice taste to it, it didn't really taste like cherries, it had more of a sweet taste to it. It was smooth and  a little dry.
I did not have with food.
